I mean you are all talking about DJWS' songs from ARTPOP not being released but just look at the full picture : what about RedOne's 8 finished songs from LG5 that he was so so proud of ? What about the + 50 songs they made for Chromatica including Boys Noize and Sophie's productions that didn't made the cut from the final record ? What about Garibay & RedOne initial work on ARTPOP ? What about all the stuff from her early work on LG6 ? What about her huge amount of material she had from TF / TFM time that could have be included into anniversary re-releases (intead of just recycling some old vinyle stuff) ? And much much more

It's just not a DJWS thing.. All the other people who worked with her on some unreleased stuff are most probably as frustrated about it as DJWS. But they are just not begging anyone for years to make it happen ? I totally respect him for standing and fighting for it but yeah it won't happen, as much as us and him want it anyway... The people with power on this just don't want.

I just feel like we all have to deal with the fact what belong to the past will remain in the past with Lady Gaga. And that's it...  

ARTPOP is different baby lol idk if you were there but the era was a mess and it was heartbreaking for fans because we knew it had nothing to do with Gaga. Fans are so behind Act 2 because it would be triumphant for Gaga - to reclaim something that is shrouded in devastation… not because we want unreleased music lol

At this point we should all start to chill our nipples. It’s mid august and the next winter is already getting ready backstage. We will know by then.
As a fan, of course I would love to get outtakes officially released. Who doesn’t want to hear "new" Gaga music come on now. If nothing is coming then that was it. She will have her reasons.
But surely the “act 2 anticipation” will go down in fan history

There was an idea of releasing an act II, basically an EP with anything non-danceble, or whatever it might end be but then they decided to release these songs on the ARTPOP app which for whatever reason they abandoned the whole app after the album release. They even struggled mixing and mastering the album on time. I'm pretty sure these songs are unfinished. It's quite sad but there's definitely a reason. I don't think Gaga or Interscope care about releasing those songs anytime soon, even Born This Way anniversary release didn't had anything unreleased and they paid extra money making reimagined versions. But we never know as expanded releases is a thing now.

The app and Act II were separate projects. She was talking about both of them at the same time in 2012, the idea that she wanted to release songs on the app but also release a double album. Then, by the time of album release, it was a plan to drop rejects from Act I on the app (namely Brooklyn Nights) while releasing Act II in (presumably) mid 2014.

Even after plans for the app halted, Gaga was still talking about Act II post-release of the OG album and in 2014.

Well we don't know if she's taken that decision or not until November on the 10th anniversary. If nothing happens then, I'm concluding she isn't releasing it. I still think it's right to hold out a bit of hope, I mean she's just not the kind of artist who'd be happy burning a few 256kbs mp3s to a CD and putting it out. If she's decided to do something special for the 10th anniversary, she'll have been working creatively to the demos that already exist. That takes time

Actually, I just thought, the long wait for the CBF could indicate it's getting a November release. Her team will expect fans to wait for something ACT II related, and if she has taken the decision not to do anything, at least we'll have the CBF. But that's just speculation. I just want November to hurry up so the entire issue can be put to bed

Guys of course she has taken the decision not to do anything. She basically answered with that petition tweet that although the demand for act 2 is high and lit a spark in her heart (or whatever she said), she's behind ARTPOP and everyone should follow suit. It's common for every artist to have unreleased material that never sees the light of the day, and most of the fans only want act 2 because they think ARTPOP was the last "real Gaga era", let's face it. And the chromatica ball film is totally independent from act 2, at least the film exists.

She needs to say this. Unhinged fan speculation and obsession over something she has no intention of saying needs to be clearly stated so people can move on. I truly do not understand why she hasn't addressed this, because she is very obviously aware that this is something that is very prominent in some of the fanbase.
