DJWS reacts to ARTPOP fan promo advert

What is so controversial about a producer who has a massive amount of unreleased music made with one of the biggest musicians in the world wanting those works to see the light of day? I can imagine how frustrating it would be to be hounded by this fanbase for the biggest portion of your career and putting in all that hard work and the music itself being tied to legal restraints and roadblocks. It really is unfortunate if Gaga/ Interscope shut down the idea of even just dropping the finished songs for the fans. 

And just to be clear as always, some of y'all who absolutely loathe the idea of "Act II" are doing the most and must think we want a full fledged era. Maybe some do, but the vast majority just want to have the finished songs in their Gaga collection, hell I'd take more demos. The creative and artistic process of this era is fascinating 

I'll talk only about my own opinion but isn't it okay for any artist to have some scrapped stuff over the years that just don't see the light of the day any time ? 

I'd totally take ACT II, like seriously it would be totally crazy and exciting ! But I'm totally okay to let it go as it is just a random thing happening in the music industry. Some music is made and never released.

I mean you are all talking about DJWS' songs from ARTPOP not being released but just look at the full picture : what about RedOne's 8 finished songs from LG5 that he was so so proud of ? What about the + 50 songs they made for Chromatica including Boys Noize and Sophie's productions that didn't made the cut from the final record ? What about Garibay & RedOne initial work on ARTPOP ? What about all the stuff from her early work on LG6 ? What about her huge amount of material she had from TF / TFM time that could have be included into anniversary re-releases (intead of just recycling some old vinyle stuff) ? And much much more

It's just not a DJWS thing.. All the other people who worked with her on some unreleased stuff are most probably as frustrated about it as DJWS. But they are just not begging anyone for years to make it happen ? I totally respect him for standing and fighting for it but yeah it won't happen, as much as us and him want it anyway... The people with power on this just don't want.

I just feel like we all have to deal with the fact what belong to the past will remain in the past with Lady Gaga. And that's it...

Obviously he is going to talk about it. he’s unemployed without Gaga his last production credits are on the ASIB soundtrack in 2018

it’s just one u see another pop artist re release their music with an ep’s worth sometimes an albums worth of new music from that era and see major success it’s like why can’t we just do that it’s become a trend….. there’s a pink Friday 2 coming

That’s very true, never really thought about that, how it must feel to see TS have all the success with releasing old music on such a large scale.

Comments like this always rile up the fans FAR more than any support or pride DJWS shares about ARTPOP. It’s the pattern of every thread. Someone says something rude and nasty about him and the rest of the thread is just constant arguing over those comments til it dies

Nah, maybe here but the second he made that story there were multiple monsters on twitter being crazy, including one saying they are no longer supporting her + jazz because she refuses to release act II.
