Due to severe weather delaying Beyoncé's Sunday "Renaissance Tour" show, Metro extended its last train by an hour.

Concertgoers waited nearly two hours for a shelter-in-place to end at FedEx Field before the performance began.

The tour funded the additional hour of Metro service -- covering the $100,000 cost to run more trains, keep all 98 stations open for customers to exit, and other operational expenses. During the extended service period, customers could only enter Morgan Boulevard, the station closest to FedExField. All other stations were exit only.

She is so awesome to her fans. Making sure they can see the show, even if late because of weather delays, AND they can get home safely after, using the metro service. I love all these extra miles that she did! She really cares for her BeyHives! :applause:

Queen. Her and Taylor paying those sums for their fans is how  everyone should do it. Taylor paid around 100k for overcurfew too during her concert. You bring the big money for the people who put you there :vegas:
