Why Hasn’t Gaga Done an NPR Tiny Desk Concert?

I LOVE the Tiny Desk Concert series by NPR, and am quite frankly surprised Gaga hasn’t done one. I think it would be so special to see Gaga do something so intimate and just… cute! Huge names have done it, I wonder why Gaga hasn’t?  Does anybody have any insight or tea on this? Speculations?

I think there's better chance at her doing Hot Wings than Tinydesk. 

I enjoy tinydesk but I get the feeling people would feel she's too "established" for that format. They tend to lean more underground/indie scene.

I can see her doing it. In my opinion, the majority of the Tiny Desk Concerts are reserved for smaller creators and big creators that need better recognition (if that makes sense.) I can't see her doing a tinydesk now. Her schedule is probably PACKED! but I can see her doing it in her Joanne era.

you really only do that stuff if you need to promote. i don’t think she is at the point where she wants or needs to get creative about tv spots to sell records tbh

Because her management is very reluctant to increase her online presence for whatever reason. I would for her to do this, or a KEXP session would be amazing too. I know she's 'too big' for that but depending on the style of the next album, it could be a badass and authentic move.

Tbh I bet the proximity to people turns her off from it. You’re CLOSE to fans and as we know she gets anxiety really easily from that. Joanne would have been her most likely opp for it or love for sale and since she did it for neither I think that ship’s sailed lmao I feel like she would have done carpool karaoke OR tiny desk and she chose the former. It’s true, it would have been a big opp for her, though. That said, her promo doesn’t seem too focused on singing these days. Like, she is not singing at every appearance she makes like she used to so who knows maybe that’s also a part of it
