nATAH 48,666 Posted July 27, 2023 Share Posted July 27, 2023 when this album dropped, i didn't care for it minus a few tracks and was bitterly disappointed with the lack of visuals and entertainment however when the tour started, my tiktok feed was flooded with clips and i cannot help but LOVE this album. watching beyonce be care-free and goofy on stage to some of the best dance music made (whilst also being the perfectionist that she is) has been a total joy to witness if she comes back to the UK for round 2, i'm TOTALLY buying tickets mother, what must i do? It’s kinda cool how it managed to stay relevant without much of any promo. The visuals we did get are great. The album itself, in my personal opinion, needed to be shorter. Up to Break My Soul, it’s banger after banger (besides Energy which is just good. The “Pah Pah Pah Pah” and “dah dah dah dah’s” are corny as ****. Love the rest lol). Had it been a 10 song album, it would be one of my favorite albums ever tbh. The second half is just a dragggggg. Her team really did miss a big opportunity for promo though.
