I get what you're saying but I still doubt that they would have done that. I go back to my argument of Star Wars, if a movie that is like 30 years old can be released in full HD with special effects, surely a 3 year old video can too.

I'm not saying that it can't be released in HD, but they probably don't want to spend to time/money to do so. All the re-releases of Star Wars meant that they could sell more DVDs, Blu-rays, movie tickets, etc. to pay for the costs of redoing the movies. There's little to no money to be made by re-releasing a music video in HD.

Now that's a great idea! We can get all the recent videos in 1080p but the bit rates for Blu-rays are so much higher and the quality would be amazing. I doubt it'll ever happen though.

I'm hoping she does it when she eventually releases a 'Greatest Hits' album. Madonna did it for Celebration, many other artists release DVDs/Blu-rays too, so here's hoping :flutter:

Who knows, I still hope we'll get even the raw footage, or the Director's Cut version for Poker face without those counting numbers in HQ or HD.
