I think he's trying to shine up his reputation a bit after everything. There were long term dancers who defended him, too, so idk about the whole thing. I absolutely buy he was toxic and Gaga should fire him, but I feel like fans went way overboard (see the above sexual assault thing).

He said in the article that he would be apart of future Gaga projects. Even currently he is working with Michael Bearden on an Idina Menzel project that is in the works and Gaga has been liking & commenting on posts about it on Richys Instagram. I would give anything for him to be booted and her work with a much more mature and competent choreographer, but she stays loyal to anyone willing to stick around apparently. Which is, I think, the oddest thing about this whole issue. She was close to the dancers too it seemed so could she really have been happy with them not even being asked back by Richy?

My first thought is that he'll be present in the Chromatica Ball film in some way and they wanted to get this out ahead of that.

His attitude is still gross to me and I'm disappointed he's not canned

We recently saw Richy with Michael Bearden at the entrance of a studio, so if your theory is true, it could be a very recent decision of Gaga. I think the TCB movie is really coming soon and Richy wants to prevent the second wave of accusations from the dancers/stans.

Ohhh, man, not he speaking about it now  it's a bit weird. I don't think a bunch of people are going to say you sexually assaulted them just because they are angry for not being called back to work on a tour, but well  I don't think well ever know what happened for sure.

There was one SA allegation and it was made up by a Gaga fan.

All other allegations are of him being an asshole, which isn't a crime and clearly many dancers will put up with it 'cause it's kind of an "industry standard" for choreographers.

I think he should change his ways, be a bit softer, but I definitely agree that if those dancers had a spot on TCB stage, there would have been no drama

I do think there's truth in that. Like it can both be true that he's toxic/abusive/an asshole, and that the dancers wouldn't have said anything if they had been invited. But if they're not coming back anyway, then there is nothing to lose by airing our the fact that he's an ass. And it could be "industry standard" but that could be their way of trying to rebel against that standard, by pointing out that its a standard even in the employ of Lady Gaga, one of the most vocal kindness advocates in the business. 

Humans are willing to put up with a lot of crap just for fulfillment; physical, emotional, or spiritual. I personally think he's too far gone and egotistical and there's just no way he can be redeemed.

This isn't true. It was a fan, who long hated Richey, who made up a DM from a dancer. The DM was clearly fake, and came across like it was from someone who didn't speak English (the dancer was American), used stan language, and claimed they never told anyone but this specific fan.

Rolling Stone also investigated-and they defn. were aware of the fans lobbing this allegation-and said nothing. Rolling Stone implied Drake was creepy with underage girls, so if they found something they would have said it.

Look, Richey seems toxic asf but this fake SA allegation crossed a major line.

Apparently the thing with Michael Bearden is for an Indina Mendzel project?

IDK, you could defn. be right. Others have said something similar (e.g. it's just to get out ahead of TCB film). But it's a very weird outlet to go towards considering they have been horrible to Gaga in the past.
