I wonder if Beyoncé gaining a reputation on the last tour for having expensive and hard to get tickets made people not even bother trying this time around. Renaissance was also much less of a cultural moment than Lemonade, but I’m shocked that this tour hasn’t sold more.

Those are just largely conservative states, they don't likely bother, especially in these political climate as of late, unless it's that Wallen guy sksksksks

Im a Beyonce fan, and I really dislike Taylor. But id rather go to Taylors tour this year! Beyonces show isnt that good even though, and even though I already got tickets, im not excited to go!

I’m really shocked at the ticket selling situation for a Renaissance. I’ve had a ticket on sale for months at the lowest possible price for me to make back the money I spent and it still hasn’t sold.

Cuz they’re not selling. All of three dates are barely selling 50$ seats let alone her vips. Vegas night two might be cancelled too.Pittsburgh is cancelled cuz it was the weakest in terms of selling tickets

I read somewhere that she was about to have one of the most profitable tours ever due to insane demand n sales

I hope the exit is joyful and i hope never to return.

A shame :cyanlights: Not to harp on about the lack of promo, but this is what happens when you give your fans nothing (Beyonce) vs constant promo (Taylor). The audience wants to be entertained, and sadly Renaissance wasn't the complete experience people expected. Great album, though.

washington and pennsylvania are not, on the whole, conservative states. washington's a safe democratic state, with seattle being arguably one of the most liberal cities in america. then pennsylvania's a swing state, with pittsburgh and philadelphia both being strong democratic strongholds. kansas on the other hand, is a conservative state, but neither of those first two are.

i don't think we need to turn to political conspiracy to figure out why these aren't selling. renaissance didn't hit big with the general public and as someone else said, a lot of people outright don't bother with beyonce tickets because they have a reputation for costing thousands and selling out in minutes.

Initial demand for tickets was excessive so people thought "oh well I won't bother trying again"

Then people hear about how expensive the tickets are and think "oh well I won't bother checking closer to the time"

I think this is huge part of it. I thought the tickets would be more expensive. They are still pricey but seemingly cheaper than Lemonade.

it doesn’t help that everyone and their mother is touring/have toured in the last year so money is dry for many people

That’s why my boyfriend and I decided to take this year off. We considered Beyonce but decided to focus on getting our house in order and work on upgrades. We splurged a lot last year between vacations, Dua Lipa’s show and two of Gaga’s so we needed the break.

Good for them if they’re getting Demand based pricing clash back and are not selling out. Lower all those tickets a 95$ and it will sell out.
