He's not my favorite, but he's done his best to keep the promises he's made and avoids causing too much friction. Meanwhile, the republican party is finding new imaginary enemies every week, disregarding laws, and rolling back civil rights. They'll keep doing it too until the Federalist Society plans fail. It can and will get worse if we allow it to. We will never get Medicare for all or proper electoral reform but those are luxuries compared to the rights that will continue to be eroded if we give another Republican the chance to nominate more justices. misham0nster 130 Posted July 5, 2023 Share Posted July 5, 2023 Lesser evil is of course a legitimate thing to consider. But the party is supposed to serve us, not the other way around. They need to be running people who are actually popular instead of shrugging like there's just no way to control who ends up being nominated. We definitely need to keep the damage of this system as slow as possible, but it's unlikely that the system will ever truly serve us as it is now. Would you love me if I ruled the world?
