Being pressured by society to be in a couple as a life goal - if not obligation, without people asking themselves if that really suits them might be the reason why so many couples fail. So they put themselves in situations they don’t even realize they’re incapable of. And then they fail to live up to the HIGH expectations of monogamy and then they lie and they fight and they gaslight and it becomes messy.  It’s very sad. Pronounced like “Balenciaga” .
