I am not a Taylor fan at all but I think Midnights is a pretty strong album, especially Maroon.

I think Folklore showed her at her best.

i'd even go as far as to single out august as her peak. maybe evermore's willow should be noted too :enigma:

Ivy stands above all the others for me

But just behind it are The Last Great American Dynasty, Mirrorball, Death by a Thousand Cuts, All Too Well

I'd say the original version of All Too Well (not TV, imo her vocals and production on the TV are too soft and don't hit hard like they should). Beautiful songwriting and storytelling, her vocals are quite interesting on it, good production and melodies...

I feel like Red is her most challenging album vocals wise, as the rest of her discography has quite easy vocals, but overall folklore is her best album to this day and it will be very difficult to top it

I'm not her biggest fan music-wise but she does have some songs I really like (like shake it off)

but this one is a masterpiece imo

Yup. Ivy imo is by far her best songwriting, melody, etc. I did not care for Midnights at all....I thought the songwriting, for the most part, was many steps back compared to Evermore and Folklore or even her earlier work. That said, there are some exceptions: You're on your own, kid; Sweet Nothing; Would've, Could've, Should've.

I'm not a huge Taylor fan, so I don't know all the track titles of her earlier stuff (with the exception of some of the major songs)....but I believe her vocals are best on Reputation.

Lover, Folklore, and Evermore were all top tier in terms of production. Evermore had some really interesting production choices. In terms of standout songs in regards to production: Long Story Short, Closure, Gold Rush, Cruel Summer, Mirrorball, and Invisible String.

Songwriting: All Too Well, Seven, Ivy, My Tears Ricochet, The Last Great American Dynasty, Dorothea, and Mirrorball.

Melodies: Delicate, All Too Well, Ivy, Getaway Car, Seven, and Mirroball.
