Like it's one thing to cut off a MAGA cousin or even an aunt/uncle, but your own mom or dad...that's really difficult. Kids often have unconditional love for their parents, and vice-versa. My friend has a similar situation with her mom going full crazy. They are Venezuelan, too, and her mom "still" supports him even with all the horrid immigration policies.
