Canada according to estimates will hit it's 40 Millionth person in less than 24h (tomorrow before 3pm)

 

Canada has the fastest growing population in the developed world. Last year the population grew 2.7%  and grew by over 1 Million in a year alone.

 

Last year was the highest population growth in its history in total numbers and as a percentage was the highest rate since 1957 as the baby boom was coming to an end

 

Immigration targets are around Half a Million per year adding over 1% of population a year thru immigration alone

It's crazy to think with all the cranes and skyscrapers under construction in Toronto (Toronto has had the most cranes and skyscrapers under construction of any city in North America every year since like 2010) it's still not keeping up with demand

I’m from North Carolina, the south. And sometimes I think it’s even too cold here lol.
