Most people are judging her right now but no one knows what is actually happening behind the scenes. What if Gaga right now has severe body pain that is out of control and flaring up and affecting her mental health? What if Gaga is being quite but also donating or spending money to help the LGBT community? What if she is working on something as co-chair of the presidential arts advisory committee to help the community? Or what if she is going through something personal that is taking up all her energy? Or what if she simply cant stand people anymore for the constant hate/critique she get for everything she does? She has done a lot for us which we cannot deny. As a sexually fluid person i never truly accepted myself when i was young. There was even a time when i became extremely religious and spent days and nights trying to find some meaning and explanation from Quran supporting me. I went into a spiral. Her music helped me accept myself. It healed me. It took me out of my darkest times. On days when life gets too tough i think about her and i feel better. So i have nothing but love for her. Love you ya silly goose xx But fr this is all very true, sadly it dosent mean anything to the people who get truly bothered by her lack of communication (I couldnt care less, she isnt speaking to me personally anyway and she has nothing left to prove to me) I think they would rather be angry with her than sad that she isnt holding up her end of this unwritten 'lgbtq icon expectations' agreement, it's one of those things they are actively deciding to be bothered by, I'd just leave em to it. Gaga is allowed to change the form of activism she chooses to participate in based on her mental health. I'm not trying to cause drame here - but I'm not a huge fan of depicting her with those what-ifs as a "poor little thing" that is above criticism because of her (very valid) pain though. Its like sometimes people think im not giving them time when actually im going through something terrible or having some exams with not even a minute to spare. How can people say she's done nothing for the community, if it's people from the community who have made it clear that the Foundation has helped them?
