I've been a fan of Gaga since Just Dance. I grow up with her music, and her Born This Way era was a big moment in my life. 

But to be honest, after Born This Way I start to feel disconnected with her. I felt she was not the same. 

And now, I love her music, but with her, as a person, I feel she is really different.

I don't know how y'all didn't see this coming. One of the biggest changes I noticed in her from CB is that she gives it her all on stage, then the minute she's backstage Lady Gaga comes off and Stefani returns. That's just the natural progression of her from Joanne onwards, IMO. She always made it very clear she was growing tired of always being in performance mode for us.

None of that excuses her recent behaviour IMO. It just shows a money-hungry attitude from my perspectrive, but you can't really be shocked unless you've been oblivious to the past several years of her career.

I definitely wasn’t attacking or insulting her but honestly feel kind of bad that I made a lot of fun of the whole situation. but here’s the thing,

first and foremost I definitely don’t feel she owes the fanbase anything. I am fully aware how she pushes herself to the limit to deliver the best experience. sometimes even past that which is actually bad for her.

second, she doesn’t need to be as vocal about lgbtq+ rights 24/7 especially on social media which any mistake not only could but 100% WILL be used against her. there has been people calling her fake ally and pink money ever since she started which is a blasphemy considering how many times she’s shown her true intentions and support to a cause she is passionate about to the point of funding a foundation for that matter.

third and last, I don’t give a (insert word here) about what she endorses or sells. the more the better tbh and people had a whole anti big pharma discourse ready to attack her and that is honestly a matter of personal opinion and politics outside of the Gaga fandom.

My problem is the self centered gays using LGBT issues as an excuse to attack her because now they have a "valid reason" to let their anger out when really they're mad over a stupid tour DVD. And this anger has been brewing for years when Gaga didn't promote Chromatica the way they wanted.

Do I wish she would speak up about LGBT issues right now? Yes, but we don't know what she's doing behind the scenes. She has a whole foundation and a personal life, full of LGBT+ friends and family who are personally affected. Not everybody lives chronically online. I know for a fact she would speak up when she's ready and in the way she wants, which might not be a tweet or IG post. 

It's really sad to see that dedicating your entire career and life to your millions of LGBT+ fans all over the world amounts to **** if you don't tweet quick enough or if you don't release a tour DVD or be the perfect popstar. Embarrassing ass fanbase.

Can't you maybe just ban people who are being rude and taking this too seriously (and I'm sure there were people belonging to this category lol bc there always is) and let the rest of the fanbase to give valid and rational arguments for discussion?

Again, I'm not trying to be rude or offend anyone, I'm just sad bc so many threads were deleted and a lot of fans made some good points regarding this sitaution and I didn't have a chance them to read them in full bc I was on my shift in hospital and when I was over and had time to read them, they were gone

Gaga taught me that i was born this way and to never be ashamed of it. She saved my life with that single line as silly as it sounds. She will always be a LGBtQ ally even if she never makes a public appearance ever again. Seems like many of you forgot but I didn’t. I remember how life was before Gaga.

On one side, I think looking at Pzfier's background, her and her team should have done a little bit of research about the brand and what it supports. She HAS to get some more people to help with her team, I'm not saying she should get rid of her actual one, but obviously there areas that need to be covered that aren't at the moment.

 I am not mad about using tour footage, even tho I want it really badly. The ad does kinda rub me in the wrong way, but idk.

But some people really took it to far... To question her care for LGBTQ+ issues? Really?

She was there for our community when it was a risk to her career, some people may forget that, but she was saying "God and the gays" during the promotion for her DEBUT ALBUM.

I know people have a right to be dissapointed, to feel alienated or not feel as strong of a conection with her or her work, but to question her morality and personally attack her? The internet is truly the toilet of the internet.

Oh, and to add, she doesn't have to post about EVERY issue. For all we know she has been donating and supporting on the low, like she usually does. Her making a post would be useful? Yes. But it's not the end of the world if she doesn't. Hell, she has a foundation dedicated to working with our community, she's probably doing her part, and to be a complaining on the internet while doing nothing is really hypocritical.

Anyways, sorry for the long post, have been seeing too much hate (again not talking about the criticism, thats valid).

She didn’t force anybody to buy/stream her music. That was all out of our own will. She doesn’t *owe* anybody anything, same way we don’t *have* to buy anything she tries to sell.
