What are your unpopular opinions about The Fame Monster, now?

Me:

- So Happy I Could Die is the best song of the album

- I never liked Bad Romance, and the lead single should have been Monster

- Telephone is the best music video from this era

Bat

Telephone is the worst song on the album and I hope she retires it for good on her next tour (love the video though)

Monstermilo

bad romance used to be my fave gaga song

now it sounds soooo dated - i just hate the rarara roma roma aahhh it sounds so silly and tacky to me now

its still her best chorus to date but idk the chanting ruins it for me now - still one of her best vids though

telephone IMO has aged well

Smother Em Eh

Telephone is lackluster and the worst song off the album

Bad Romance is one of the best pop songs of all time and it completes the album

Teeth is underrated AF

The album has some of her best lyrics. DITD verses, BR verses, Speechless etc.

I like her tone on the album (especially on Monster, DITD, Teeth) the most out of all her other albums (besides TF)

Monster should have been a single with a music video

The Fame Monster

I'm not sure if these opinions are unpopular, but here they are:

• The Fame Monster is one of Gaga's top three albums.

• The single choices were almost perfect, although Dance In the Dark should have been the fourth global single with a music video.

• Instead of being a re-release of The Fame, the album should have been a standalone with at least four additional songs.

• Bad Romance remains the best song from the album and is one of Gaga's top five songs of all time. It hasn't aged a bit and still maintains the powerhouse status it had in the 2010s.

That's what they did.

Railing

• Rejects like Second Time Around and No Way are extremely dated, more than anything she's ever released in her career, and I don't completely get why people think they needed release :toofunny:

• Probably my least favorite "classic Gaga" record (i.e. her first four albums). It's so quintessentially 2009 and while I love tracks like Monster, Bad Romance and Speechless, the overall atmosphere of the record resonates for me the least.

• Blasphemy as entertainment is funny :bon:
