Agree with many others on the thread that it's a top tier Gaga album (imo her top three are BTW, TFM, and Chromatica)

1. Stupid Love was a great lead single

2. After Stupid Love leaked, she should have changed the lead single to Free Woman and used Stupid Love as a promo single instead

3. Enigma is Gaga’s best song. 

4. I think she should continue with this sonically and do a follow up to Chromatica.

• It's definitely my least-enjoyed of her solo albums, but not to a point that it's negative; most of her albums rank at 4.5 or 5 stars for me, but Chromatica narrowly misses the mark and sits at 4 stars. It's a nice album, but it's not as impressive as some of her other work.

• I REALLY wish Rain On Me remained solo. I don't care about the chart success or the Grammy. I feel like Ariana's verse is very Nickelodeon and holds back the song a bit.

• I don't mind the production changes in Free Woman (compared to the demo), but I still find the lyric re-arrangement a bit awkward. Still a good song nonetheless.

• Stupid Love is underappreciated! It's a banger and it still holds up. It was a good lead single idea.

*Stupid Love is a genuinely good song. The only issue is the hook is a bit repetitious, but everything else works. The critics all praised it for a reason! That said, it's definitely a song that works better in a club or even in a gym than in one's house or car.

*As others said, Free Woman should have been the single along with Replay and ROM. FW & Replay had the potential to be massive hits imo....

*Rain on Me is a great song, but it also sounds a bit generic at the same time.

*Sour Candy is meh.

*911 is her best music video.

*Chromatica is one of Gaga's best reviewed albums (I believe it may even be her best reviewed album). And I think the MC score is more or less correct. I still prefer BTW...BTW is messy but adventurous with great lyrics. But Chromatica is cohesive, fun, and has some of her best songwriting (Sine from Above, Replay, etc.).

I rank those albums in the same order, too.

Leaving jazz and ASIB aside, for me it's BTW, TFM, Chromatica, Joanne, TF, and ARTPOP. While I'm very meh on a couple of tracks on Chromatica, Free Woman (particularly the remix with Rina) and Replay are in my top 5 Gaga tracks.

Stupid Love is just “chef’s kiss”! The production is one of her best and it sounds like it was extremely expensive. Max Martin and Tchami ate. Listen to the instrumental and you’ll understand.

Rain On Me is the only iconic collab of the decade so far. it’s a tie with Kiss Me More, but only one is a lgbtq anthem and we all know which. 

1000 Doves and Plastic Doll are both misunderstood, underrated and overhated.

Free Woman deserved a video. (Concept: Serving c*nt and choreo and couture in the same level of G.U.Y, the world would have collapsed)

Babylon has the best chorus of the album.

Chromatica is her most cohesive album since TFM, barely any fillers. After 3 years, it stills sounds fresh and timeless.

Chromatica is probably her biggest wasted opportunity for an album to date. Thought she has a lot of amazing things planned for the album, they all fell through because of the pandemic. However, instead of adapting to the situation and creating alternative methods to do cool stuff (like Dua did with FN) she just king of let the flame die out.

EDIT: Also, Plastic Dolls should’ve been a lead single. Y’all throw so much unnecessary hate towards it because it calls out so many of her fans.
