Was anybody expecting this show to be anything but a disaster? The Weeknds own subreddit has been dragging the Idol to hell and back for months. Anything involving Sam Levinson as a creative visionary is bound to be riddled with a messy creative process. Abel having literally no prior acting experience and Lilly-Rose Depp being painfully mediocre only added salt to the gaping wound that is this terrible show. Why anyone else would want to add their name to this is beyond me.
