It must have been hard being 13 and having the whole internet making fun of you, like everyone made such a big deal out it and she was hated for a harmless song about having to go to school on a friday :smh:

I'm glad she came around and is still following her dreams. Gaga has always been spreading love ando no one can deny that :holdmyhand:

She was the most hated person in America for like a month lol it was insane.. good for her for being able to survive it and come out well-adjusted, I wouldn't be shocked if it literally ruined her life.

and props to Katy and Gaga for the love and support.

Yeah. I still cannot believe she was hated FOR A SONG that wasn't even problematic. I live in the Philippines and I remember seeing her on the news just for being hated in America.

The Fame

People were WAYY too involved with mocking a literal child. Those people were genuinely weird and pathetic.

I'm glad to hear Katy and Gaga were kind to her.

The song and video were bad but she was just a kid just having fun. I never understood why people HATED her for something so innocent. I think it was the first time I really saw how bad online bullying can be and it was truly an iconic moment in internet history but not in a good way...

GAMS

I remember watching the Google Goes Gaga in 2011 and her talking about Rebecca and how she's genius and anyone who thinks otherwise is full of ****. :hor:

The saddest part is that no one learned there lesson from this and they told Jacob Sartorious to drink bleach in 2016 over an equally harmless song :(. Ageism against young people is a real thing.

It was a funny parody song, but the hate she received was way over the top and unnecessary full stop, like she only just reached her teen years when that mv dropped.
