Car EV battery manufacturer Stellantis has stopped construction of a $5B factory after it claims the Government did not keep their end of the bargain on an agreement that promised partial funding on start-up costs

 

The company says it will resume construction of the project when the Government rectifies the situation

Canada is on track to barely post a budget surplus this year. Whatch the commitments be just enough to put them in the red so they tried to delay payments into next year when a deficit is already expected anyway and won't make much difference
