I find this post very deceptive. You make it sound like multiple votes won’t be counted when that’s untrue. This is how it’s been scored for decades. I must've not noticed that in previous competitions, cuz they'd only announce the 12pts. Well still, this sounds like ranked preference voting. The winner is likely going to be the "most consensus" contender, as opposed to the one with the biggest lead in popular voting.
