So as an American I'll just say:

- Congrats Switzerland and good job Croatia. This year I was fine with either winning. Last year I felt Cha Cha Cha was miles better than Tattoo, but I see a similar sentiment/war between two sides in the post-contest discourse.
- What a ****show this year was. Europapa prob would have been in the Top 5 if nothing had happened.
- Why the hell did so many people vote for Israel wtf
- As a messy gay I'm percht to see what the fallout is now that the dust is settling re: Joost Klein, Israel's involvement, etc etc

Dejare de quererte cuando un pintor sordo pinte el sonido de un pétalo al caer en el suelo de cristal de un castillo que no existe.

it's already over, no need to prolong this drama. Not like Croatia finished last. They did great. Be happy with it.

Lemme not be shady I'm not in the mood for it :icant:

Genuinely happy you're happy. Here's hoping by next year, Israel won't be conducting their atrocious business and the talent won't be overshadowed by *gestures generally at everything*

The fact that Eden came so close to winning the popular vote but was boycotted by the jury, tells everything.

Now what's really embarrassing was the fact that even with all the political and pity votes in the world, someone could only be #5 :billie:

Eden was clearly boycotted by the jury though. They were scared of the riots that would take place all over Europe had she won.

Israel didn’t even win the televote despite a full organised right wing voting with millions spent on targeted ads. Luckily it’s very likely Israel experienced it’s last Eurovision

Didn’t know trying to make a statement against antisemitism was a right wing thing.

Anywho, Croatia was also boycotted. They made Switzerland winner simply because it’s historically seen as neutral, like someone predicted in this thread yesterday.
