You’re forgetting the fact that they had a lead single chosen for the album. I’m not sure why Gaga would continuously work for a year with RedOne if she was dissatisfied with what they were making. If we’re making logical guesses it was scrapped because a lot happened early 2016 that shifted her focus (breakup with Taylor, Bowie’s death, ASIB).
