People saying she doesn’t understand the cultural references and tributes can have many seats.

Tributes can be bad. If Beyoncé’s fans like this album, and enjoy it, that’s all that matters.

However, I do not think it did any favors to Beyoncé’s legacy. Award winning albums are selected by a few industry insiders and we all know she and Jay-Z are deep with connections in the industry. 

Again, if you enjoy it, go stream it.

She isn’t hating it. We misuse this world a lot. She is just not feeling it. I think it’s okay. Beyoncé has a vast catalogue and many kinds of music. She’s more of a stan of different vibe from Beyonce.

She LOVED the first three tracks on Confessions on a Dance Floor, she enjoyed Madonna's house rendition of Fever, liked some of the dance heavy tracks on Madonna's Music, listed Spotlight by Jessie Ware as her favorite track of 2020, and highlighted a bulk of the upbeat tracks on Dua's Future Nostalgia as some her faves.
