Bernie's actually not as left as AOC, but the problem is the media framed him as a 'scary socialist' lol (and tbf, while I like Bernie, he didn't help himself either) when in reality he's basically a normie social democrat.

Anyway, I agree imo...the problem is the swing states which are pretty centrist and unfortunately it needs to be someone who can win a good chunk of them. I feel like the best chance is Whitmer tbh....she's been able to help enact some progressive policies and laws in Michigan but manages to skirt being framed as extreme.

Stop the presses! A politician backtracking? What a new concept!

I personally hope no one in their 80’s has to work. With politicians, I would hope that they may make room for a new generation of effective leaders. Diane Feinstein should have stepped down ages ago. 

When it comes to Biden, the man should be resting. The Democrats have failed in positioning and up and coming presidential candidate. Kamala has had so many opportunities to be conditioned to be the next big leadership but has dropped the ball sooooo hard. I even thought Bernie Sanders was pretty up in age back in 2016 even though I have much respect for him.

I do not idolize any politician and don’t think I ever will. And I don’t think any right wing politician will ever care about people who do not fill the mold they are.

There is almost no difference between the 1984 and 1972 pics, isn't it? Would anyone be able to tell the age difference if I didn't tell you the numbers? Alternatively, we could declare the younger-than-30 pic as young and older-than-40 pic as old, but since they are so similair they are either both young (or old). Biden aged much in his 20s, then he stayed the same in his 30s before aging stronger past 45.

It's hard and arbitrary to draw a border and say "XX this is young and YY this is old", most people draw it at 30 because it a round number, but life is a gradual shift from young to old, so 30 is just a stop at the petrol station but not the end of the road, you're not the youngest but not an old hag. We see too many flawless people on media that use much cosmetics, that were chosen because of their looks out of many people, undergo plastic surgery that distort our perceptions of reality, people have flaws with 30 and they have it with 19, too, some just better hide it, you shouldn't feel bad about something that nature intended to be

Joe Biden comes across as senile in a lot of clips that I have seen about him recently. It would be great if he gave the next generations of politicians a chance to run for office. I just can't see him in an actual debate, being able to hold a position.

I truly don’t care what anyone said in the 70s. Like do you expect 29 year old Biden to be like “trans rights!” back in the 70s?

You can be upset about the candidate quality, but this is weak.
