Billboard filtered sales this week and they are mad
They rules last year and allow only 1 purchase of digital single per customer and it doesn't reset after a certain period of time so Billboard filtered sales from customers who bought his single in the first week.

when bts fans realise the filtering isn't targeted or planned to 'bring down jimin', it's achieving the exact thing it exists to do, preventing a small number of people from dropping huge amounts of money to keep a song at number one when it doesn't accurately reflect the song's popularity.

the charts don't exist for mass streaming or sales so at least huge drops like this can show which songs are actually popular and which ones are more or less fraudulent.

I laugh every time they pull the race/xenophobia card whenever something doesn't goes their way, as if these changes did not affect literally every single other artist despite their race
