So dramatic over dislikes... lmao.
I disliked the trailer. It's not a good trailer.
I am still looking forward to the movie and will be paying and watching it.

Wait, do people actually actively click the dislike button? :partysick:

I’m so excited for this movie. Little mermaid was always my fave Disney cartoon. I think the trailer looks great. But I fear it isn’t going to do well because half the US seems to be racist and they have never stopped complaining about a black little mermaid. Also with states like Tennessee actually trying to float bills that outlaw interracial marriage, in 2023, there are clearly a lot of people who will be boycotting this film.

i disliked the trailer as well, because it wasn't nothing special, quite boring but I cannot wait to see the movie.

I still shower with the white people tears when the trailer was out, the way they were screaming "racism!111" was so hilarious but at the same time disgusting and sad.

I'm going to watch this move like 4 times, I hope it break records.

The number of people complaining and making really nasty and racist comments in conservative groups and film groups just in Latin America was enormous. Anytime a movie has a progressive element or has anything lgbtq or feminist related, or inclusive, it gets mostly criticized here, it doesn't really matter if you're left or right here, most people are of the same mindset. they are against canceling the culture towards the PDF or sexual abusers (only in the cases of heterosexual male artists). but when someone or a movie is "Woke" they move on masse to cancel it.

just the amount of hate everything everywhere all at once  has gotten in the last few days is massive, complaining that the only reason the movie won so many awards was because of the asian and lgtbq element of the movie. they put the film as the worst of the worst.

so most of those dislikes are racist and conservative people.

i can't speak english but i can if you like

It saddens me to see how deeply racist the world we live in still is :ohno:

It just isn't connecting for some reason. And I haven't seen the animated film, but I just was expecting something more... joyful? I don't know... 🥲

I do, when I really dislike a video :bear:

This movie is not going to be anything special. I just wish they'd stop doing live action remakes of classic Disney films. That said, I live for Melissa McCarthy as Ursula.

The comment section is overrun by a bunch of incels from 4chan and Reddit. At the end of the day, the movie is still going to be a box office smash. The merch is already selling extremely well with the Halle Ariel doll being the #1 best seller on Amazon.

Racist can stay mad.

I’ve been a fan of the original since I was a child and have watched it countless times. So far from what I’ve seen of the new one, it’s even better. It still has the same heart that the original had but with added depth to these characters
