She did say “I pray that the fame won’t take my life” in the intro after all. I think it's actually meant to be chandelier crash sounds tbh.  Like in Phantom of The Opera Like to signify that that she narrowly missed death the first time, from that big one that's on the stage behind her at the start of the performance. But yesss I def have always gotten the Princess Diana references as well.
