(TW) Marilyn Manson ex-accuser admits lying: Evan Rachel Wood "manipulated me"

“I succumbed to pressure from Evan Rachel Wood and her associates to make accusations of rape and assault against [Manson] that were not true,” Ashley Morgan Smithline says in an explosive declaration obtained by Page Six exclusively on Thursday. (...)

The 38-year-old model, who is Jewish, previously accused Manson, 54, of forcibly raping her while cutting her with a swastika-emblazoned knife and shoving his fist in her mouth during sex. (...) She conducted a national TV interview about her claims on “The View” in June 2021 and filed a lawsuit against the “Dope Show” singer. Her case was then dismissed in January after she failed to find new legal counsel.

The Los Angeles native says in her declaration that either Wood’s girlfriend, Illma Gore, or Ashley Walters — Manson’s former assistant who also previously sued him — contacted her in 2020. (...) The women allegedly proposed that Smithline participate in group meetings with others who claimed to be “victims” of Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, including Wood.

Smithline claims since she had begun to believe what she was “told” about Manson, she allegedly allowed Gore to draft and then post a statement onto her Instagram.

“The narrative ultimately posted to my account on or around February 1, 2021 contained untrue statements about Mr. Warner, including that there was violence and non-consensual sexual activity in our brief relationship, and that I had repressed memories of
the same,” the model says in her declaration. 

Manson’s attorney, Howard King, tells Page Six that Smithline contacted him and his team of her own volition last week and has apologized to the singer. (...) “She was a reluctant participant [in Wood’s alleged scheme] from the get-go,” the lawyer says, noting that Smithline told him she never had any financial motivation for allegedly “lying” about Manson.

When asked why the model continued to reiterate her rape claims to the press at different times, the attorney reasserts that Smithline felt “emotionally manipulated” by Wood, Bianco, 40, and Ellwanger.

King also tells Page Six that Smithline has not been compensated for speaking in favor of his client and against Wood — which the model also affirms herself in her declaration.

“I never received any money from Mr. Warner and am not seeking any money from him,” Smithline says. “I have no intention of refiling any lawsuit against Mr. Warner.”

I’ve been following this story for a while, there’s a channel called Colonel Kurtz on youtube, she’s been VERY dedicated on exposing this alleged hoax and my God, this is bigger than the Depp and Heard fiasco, these insane women were allegedly ( I say that just in case but ) trying to frame this guy. He’s absolutely innocent.

Even R Kelly was found innocent when suddenly the victim and her parents didn't want to testify in his 2002 case.

Hush money is a thing and this woman just threw Wood under the bus.

Manson is lol. Not to mention manson has been in a legal battle against all the accusers and multiple have been thrown out due to lack of evidence and false reports alongside Evan literally forging FBI documents and faking being an officer. More people who know him are for his innocence than against. At the moment, only a handful (and that handful is dwindling) have ever said anything bad about him.

 

illma has been known to lie (she faked a hate crime and stole money from a fake fundraiser), Esme used fake photos from a Photoshoot and said it was bc of him even though they were posted before with different context, the Jane Doe (Bianca Allaine) even said on her own FB account multiple times she and Manson never did anything then outta nowhere comes out saying they were doing stuff (even backstage handlers said she was lying as she provided false info about the crew and how they managed the busses), the entire story is crumbling. They lied. That’s it. 
 

why is it so hard for you guys to think “oh maybe he is innocent?” Because the evidence of innocence FAR outweighs any “evidence” of guilt. That’s why he’s fighting it legally.

Also she literally said she never claimed any money from him. That would be in the court documents or at least mentioned. Any form of money MUST be mentioned as it pertains to the case. Your bias is showing

Does no one here realize that EVAN is abusing these women tho? She abused Ashley. She used her when she was at a weak point and made her create false memories to defame this guy and use her as a pawn. Manipulation is a STRONG tactic and she has lost multiple people in this case because of that. I mean look at everyone who has retracted their statements or conceded and dealt with it out of court. 
 

He can finally start to hopefully reclaim his innocence. It’s always guilty until proven innocent until it’s you on the receiving end of a charge. This man has dealt with scrutiny and hate his entire career and even being blamed for f*cking columbine. He can’t catch a break.

I mean you can claim his innocence here all you want, but that doesn't erase the history of abuse of former bandmates & other people (some of which he's completely owned up to), his affinity for Nazis, racism, sexism, etc.

He's a spectacularly garbage human being regardless of how much you love/d his artwork at any point in your life and regardless of the outcome of these trials

Gurl, get up to date on the case, all the alleged evidence is literally bull. The only vile thing here is how you all like to assume that if a woman comes forward with such claims they for sure, must always be right. Cause women can’t be evil, only men. THAT’s blissful ignorance.
