I don’t know if I’m saying this because it’s new and refreshing, I guess I’ll have to spend more time with it - but I’m definitely not disappointed. I appreciate that there’s still flourishes of classical Mel sound, but elevated and evolved. My only major gripe so far is with the way she’s choosing to transition some songs, while I appreciate how seamlessly they connect as a whole front to back - they sound a little out of place when listening to songs singularly.
