This is getting a bit out of hand, I'm not purchasing the game but I will be playing it. It's not that deep. The fight for trans rights should be with our local politicians not an author or a computer generated fantasy universe. JK Rowlings views on trans people mean nothing to me, I dont agree with her but her opinion isn't the one that matters.

The way I rationalise Twitter is he isn’t profiting from it - he’s actively making a loss and is running it into the ground.  I also don’t pay for it.  Also, for all of the “musk” runs it points, it’s also a tool actively used in promoting pro-trans ideas, events etc…. This game, isn’t.

The numbers speak for itself: it’s a best selling game and broke twitch record. People are sick of gatekeeping and virtue signaling. Don’t expect sympathy if you’re antagonizing those already on the left (many gamers are young, left leaning and are already as woke as people can get). This silly mess over JK Rowling is literally causing a divide among ourselves. 

It reminds me of when my super religious relatives would point out every satanic thing about everyone else (which was basically everything). It just makes people hate you and drive them away. And yes this is how humans work; you attack them, they’ll resent you for it. You will NEVER get people to support you by acting superior and controlling their every action.

So Twitter has value to you and you continue using it … and video games have value to other people and so they shall continue using them too 

just because games are “silly” to you doesn’t mean they are to other people.
