Yaaaas Gaga 829 Posted January 28, 2023 Share Posted January 28, 2023 If you could re-live one year (not necessarily a calendar year) in Gaga's career, what would it be and why. For me, I would love to re-live her initial emergence on to the music (late 2008 - 2009). The level of fame she achieved is unlike anything we had seen since Britney Spears, and perhaps MJ and Madonna before that. The way she revolutionised the pop scene and her complete revival of what it was to be a pop superstar was just so fascinating to me and she had me absolutely hooked from the get go. It was just so incredible to witness and I often get a strong sense of nostalgia when I look back at my college days and the sheer dominance that was Lady Gaga during that time. I was a pre-teen/ teen from TFM-Joanne so to be able to relive her peak at the age I am now and with the openness I have now I’m sure it would be magical. We would bump into each other in the hallway and talk casually, then eventually I'll get her to open up about her musical ambitions, and I would say really nice things to encourage her. We would slowly become friends over that year. And then, a day before I disappear and return to 2023, I'll leave a note in her apartment saying that I had to leave suddenly, but that I will find her one day. She will spend the next 18 years searching desperately for me, and then the day I return to the present, I will DM her on Twitter and say "Is this Stefani from New York?" And she'll get really excited and arrange to have me flown out to Los Angeles immediately. We will reconnect, and she'll get really emotional and tell me that I was the only one who believed in her all these years. That I was the one person in the room out of 99. She'll ask me why I didn't reach out years earlier despite her being in the public eye for over a decade but I'll quickly change the subject. And then I'll tell her about my financial troubles and she'll immediately write me a check for $10 million and give me the keys to her summer villa in Palm Springs, and then she'll ask if I want to be her date for the Oscars.
