The idea of this thread is to rank your Top 5 music videos by Gaga (based only on favoritism, and not by acclaim). You should leave a short commentary for each of your choices.
Here's mine..

5: Yoü And I

Yoü and I, to this day, in my opinion is one of Gaga's best written songs. I identify with it's classic rock themes and it's video I love even more. As a teenager I thought of myself as a rebel and immediately I Identified with Jo's greaser style. In my past I've had lovers were the relationship just didn't work, and I relate very much to the symbolism behind that with Yüyi and the mad scientist; being that sometimes in love 'you just can't make it work', which is what Gaga said during an MTV interview after being asked how one has sex with a mermaid.

4: Judas

This music video is quite possibly Gaga's most controversial. Released during Easter weekend in 2011, it quickly gained global backlash. The video is filled with biblical references with Gaga playing the role of Mary Magdalene, who was one of the women who stayed with Jesus; even through the Crucifixion. This is also referenced in Gaga's song 'Bloody Mary'. It's bold and badass, just like I strive to be.

3: Born This Way

The silhouette of a unicorn can be seen inside a pink triangle (a symbol of the LGBT community in history) in the opening scene, while the score of 'Vertigo' by Alfred Hitchcock plays and Gaga recites 'The Manifesto of Mother Monster'.. Many have compared the song to Madonna's 'Express Yourself', while Gaga herself says she imagined Whitney Houston singing the track when she wrote it. I enjoy this video because of it's references to 2001: A Space Odyssey, it's futuristic and space-age themes. The song itself is a modern day queer anthem.

2: Paparazzi

Paparazzi for me is the perfect 'Lady Gaga' music video, from it's theatrical sense, high fashion and shock value, it's rumored to have been a prediction of Gaga's entire career.

1: Marry The Night

I chose MTN as my number one because I can relate to it personally and it came out at a time when I needed it the most.. I think it's a staple in our fandom because of it's theme of enduring and overcoming trauma, like so many of us have. This song and it's video for me is about surviving, chasing your passion and becoming your best self.

5. Perfect Illusion: I don't care what other say, I love that video. She looks great, the idea is great and it fits the song well.

4. Applause: her comeback after the surgery. Not only has the weird Gaga moments, but she dances like never before the show us that she was fine and healed.

3. Bad Romance: the masterpiece that cannot be absent in any top 5. It defined pop music, her career and many of OUR lives. I still remember where I was when watching it for the first, it's those moments that you'll remember for years.

2. Paparazzi: maybe the video that made me fall in love with her at 100%. The story, the outfits, the dancing, Alexander, all in this video is PERFECT.

1. Judas: a phenomenal gothic religious themed video. She looks immaculate in it, the water scene is iconic, the choreography is spectacular.
