And I'm telling you it's not how that works. If Evan doesn't take the role someone else will. If the second person refuses, then the third will take the role. So on and so on. We would have to forbid it by law to get the outcome you're speaking of. We don't have the power to change it and we don't want to. You are speaking for yourself and looking at it idealistically. If Netflix came up to me and offered millions of dollars for a role depicting a real life murderer I would accept it without batting an eye. Like, I'm sorry for your suffering but I'm taking my 10 million dollars and an award. Again, you're dismissing and not addressing the fact that it's the people who wanna watch these kinda shows, they don't want to stop them being created. I am sorry for what happened to the victims but I also enjoyed the show and I'm happy Evan's acting skills are recognized. Separate art from real life. Or I just know how to separate real life events from a TV show. Also, you're acting as if I'm in some kind of sick minority, as if the show wasn't trending, taking number 1 spot on Netflix for weeks and being praised by everyone. You have presumably not had these misfortunes in your lifetime. I lost my brother 4 years ago and each day is just as difficult as the last. Watching my mother still dealing with it is even worse.
