TaylorSwift 164,475
The electronic music duo is launching a collaboration with the game “Fortnite” based on its existing catalog of music. Per a blog post shared by the Epic Games-owned gaming platform Monday, “Starting September 27 at 2 PM ET, step through the veil and embark on a sonic journey through the minds of the Grammy-winning electronic duo, Daft Punk. The band may be no longer, but their music lives on in Fortnite! Soar through their random access memories to a transformative dance floor destination, where the festivities kick off with a supercut from their legendary Alive tour and Alive 2007 album.” Electronic music duo Daft Punk famously broke up in 2021 after nearly 30 years together. In a FAQ section of the post, under the question, “Is Daft Punk getting back together?,” the answer is: “No. The Daft Punk Experience is an immersive music experience based on the band’s beloved music. The band is not getting back together.” The event is specifically described as not a concert but an “experience” that will give “fans and players a chance to enter into this retro-futuristic realm celebrating the band’s legacy, reimagined for the virtual world.” x Vote for me: https://www.grammy.com/vote/taylor-swift
