MDNA felt like she knew she had to put out some music, looked at what was trendy at the time and went with it. It feels very empty and impersonal, but it was a good excuse to go on tour. Now, Rebel Heart and Madame X, you can tell she was really passionate for those albums and had her artistic drive back.
