Think of along the lines of Cyberpunk or GTA. You’re free to explore the world, battle enemies, increase your skills, learn spells, and be able to complete missions to move the story at your own pace. Hogwarts Legacy could limit you to 1 spell and it's still sell extremely well. The interest stems from the faithful recreation of Hogwarts, as showcased by the studio multiple times. Decent gameplay would simply be a plus. While I personally try to keep my hopes realistic, movie tie in games are almost never good. They have a short development cycle with tight deadlines that coincide with the film/show and small budgets. This game might have meant to piggy back off of Fantastic Beasts, but the fact it's been publicly delayed 2-3 times as well as more than likely multiple internal delays gives me hope that they're prioritizing quality. People still haven't learned not to pre-order from studios with a history of releasing bad games The studio was owned by Disney during that time and then they closed it, a few years ago Warner Bros. bought the studio and re-opened it with a bigger budget and number of employees. But anyway, I'm going to donate $100 to the trans association in my city, I can't beat JK, I will always love HP, so my only way to fight her is to support the trans community as much as I can, do the same, enjoy the game, it's totally ok, but don't leave the people that JK hurt behind.
