Plus, Gaga has established herself as a respected entertainment industry veteran vs. 10 years ago when she was still an up and coming artist, so she has less to prove (and that makes us feel a bit more secure as fans). Of course with online stan spaces there will always be drama but it's a lot better now. Back in 2013 it was a sh*tshow of course there have been times since then that have been crazy but as a whole we have gotten older. Like someone said earlier, Gaga's legacy is established so there is less fighting against Dua Lipa stans or whatever Gaga engages less on social media. I sometimes miss how it was but it's not that big of a deal. I'm a fan of her work, it doesn't impact how I listen to Chromatica if she's not replying to fans as much I took a long break from GGD. It's definitely different now but I'm unsure if it's my own perspective changing or the website Don't get me wrong, stan spaces are messy and full of toxicity. We used to have new threads every minute. Now there’s times I come online in the afternoon and still see the same thread from 10 hours earlier in the New Threads section. But regardless of the passage of time, I and a few others will always be here as we have been for nearly a decade, even after the ‘icons’ of GGD leave or get banned. It’s sad to say, but a lot of “monsters” now are only stanning Gaga if she’s successful. We saw it during ARTPOP, and I think we’re seeing it again. Everyone on Twitter is obsessed with pitting artists against each other which goes way too far more often than not.
