efrs 435 Posted January 5, 2023 Share Posted January 5, 2023 This is so hilarious because the progressives literally could have done this EXACT thing to get Old ass Nancy Pelosi to make some serious concessions to improve the lives of the working class with supporting a $15 minimum wage and Medicare for All and even more! We see how it only took a handful of congresspeople to hold up the process. people can say that it makes the Republicans look weak but if anything it shows how ineffective and spineless the squad has been this whole time. Which is a shame because I really thought that they’d actually stand up for the people. But I guess it shows how politics encourages you to abandon your values for clout. It will backfire. The Republicans need to take this step. I’m extremely happy with Biden saying it isn’t “his problem” because the Dems need to sit still while the Republicans go at each other.
