I think he said he’sĀ romanian but he’s obsessed with smearing ukraine for some reason, usually in tacit ways but lately not so tacit anymore. I didnt know Viktor Orban/Tucker Carlson talking points are popular in Romania but hopefully not.

If posting trutful facts is "smearing" it shows how radicalized and narrative driven we became (mostly you actually). Why it is bad to post the map of an Ukrainian official if Euromaidan and all Ukraine supportersĀ think is goodĀ enough to post?Ā :toofunny:Ā If posting limks from Euromaidan and Kyiv Independent leads to smearing Ukraine, there is an issue at play.

You're treating a satirical map as some sort of smoking gun evidence that Ukraine wants to annex Russia or smth. It's hilariousĀ :billie:Ā And even if such map existed in his office, you really think it's more than them poking fun at Russia? You really think the West would entertain this? Wake up from your conspiracy theories already. The map also shows China invading Russia. I guess there's some secret alliance between Ukraine and China now?

Where was your energy yesterday when Russia launched nearly 70 missiles on civilians yet again trying to freeze them in the middle of winter? Since you're our local Ukraine-Russia war reporter now, maybe cover that instead of these frivilous threads you've been making to smear Ukraine?

As for the 4 ukrainians that died in a secret mission inside Russia. Wanna know how many russian soldiers died or got wounded while on "missions inside Ukraine"? 100K+. It's so pathetic how you just expect Ukraine to not fight back. Everytime they try to do smth to fight back you seem shocked. It's war buddy, wake up. It's a war that they haven't started. Maybe you want them to just wait in line to be slaughtered without attacking russian military bases? Well sorry for you, that's not gonna happen.

For Taiwan/Palestine:

I know I've already explained this to you before, but just so that other people are not mislead by your false analogies.

Taiwan was a U.N member state and lost its seat as a result of PRC pressure campaign. It was never part of PRC. And until today, it is still NOT recognized by the U.N as part of PRC. Instead they are recognized as "territory" (basically grey area, unsettled). Same thing with Palestine, they are recognized as territory. And guess what? I support U.N memberships for both of them.

Ukraine is a full member state of the U.N. And Crimea is still recognized as part of Ukraine. Even China does not officially recognize it as Russian. Kosovo suffered a genocide, and facing extreme persecution gives grounds for independence under international law, I already sent you articles explaining this. So once again you're mixing things that are not the same to confuse your readers.

So stop with your false analogies and your failed "gotcha" arguments.

Because after one entire year everybody knows Ukraine is at war with Russia? Do we need a thread for each bombardment? The fact that they happen is a given in both pro-Russian and pro-Ukrainiam bubbles. It's only the stuff that may, God forbid, put Ukraine in a bad light Ā that we sweep under the rug. NO, you can't talk about Ukrainian strikes on military targets inside Russia because they are justified. No, you can't post about Ukrainian irredentist maps because they are jokes. No, you can't criticse Zelensky going full cover boyĀ because it attracts attention to Ukraine. No, you can't point at the men that died fleeing the draft because they were supposed to fight for Ukraine. No, you can't point how Ukrainian officials make up stuff or post edited pictures. I am so tired of the push for narrative.

You embarass yourself fanboying over US foreign policies and "debunking" my descriptions with things that do not debunk them. Neither of what you said above contradicts yhat US respects "international law" onoy when it's convenient. And you likeĀ hiding behind "international law"Ā when it comes to Ukraine, but not when international law is adverse to American geopolitical interests. The whataboutistsat the start of the war were justified when 1 year later and radical pro-Ukraine posters like turns out said nothing about other conflicts.

If it didn' exist how it made it to his office and became visibile in the interview he gave? ''No it didn't happen''/ ''Yes it did happen but is justified'', you just love making up excuses so it seems you end up on the ''winning side'' in any given scenario.

Ah so you've become desensitized to how many Ukrainians are dying and now you think satirical maps are more newsworthy. Got itĀ :partysick:

Maybe just do everyone a favor and stay out of it? Let the ukrainians defend their country and deal with this horrible predicament that's been imposed on them. They don't have to deal with bullshit claims from people like you on top of all the other suffering they've been through.

Rule of thumb: when you feel like you loose the argument or have no comeback, make into an emotional issue on which everybody can agree on so you gain the upper hand in the convo. You are the one justifying Ukrainians dying when they tried to leave the country to escape draft. You do not care about Ukrainians dying, you care about partisanship and lobbying for ''your side'' no matter what.

Ah the tactics again, you only care about ukrainian lives when 2 or 3 guysĀ drown while trying to cross the border into Romania (tragedy nonethelss), but you're not gonna care about the tens of thousands dying as a result of russia's war. You care about that more because it suits your narrative, always trying to find smth to blame Ukraine for, even if the scale doesn't justify it.

Cherry-pick all you want. But I wouldn'tĀ overthink it.Ā The solution to all of this is for Russia to reverse what it did on February 24th, go back to their internationally-recognized border and leave it at that. The killing will not stop until they do that. Even if Ukrainians surrender, the hunt for the pro-Kyiv ukrainians will continue and they'll be executed. People like you who try to divert attention from that, constantly trying to find smth to blame the victim for, will only be useful idiots for Putin.

1 death is one death too many (and there are dozen on deaths of men trying to cross into Romania).Ā You love quantiftying tragedies and so on, and giving rationales to make you feel better,Ā but if you do it means you don't value any given life intrinsically.

And the ridiculousness of you saying I do no blame Russia for the deaths when I posted about how much I dislike Russia time and time again and my opinions stayed the same.Ā There are so many ''Russia is an irredentis empire'' posts that one can post when the issue is already agreed upon by everybody and when everything turns into a radical echo-chamber of supporting Ukraine with no nuance. Maybe it's not me suddenly becoming Putinist butĀ  you who radicalizing yourself further to the point when Ukraine can absolutely do no wrong (like getting incresingly bold in attacking the territory of Russia, blaming Russia for Ukrainian strikes on Poland and so on - these were completelyĀ unimaginable just 8 months ago). This is what is going on and will be going on for the entirety of the war which will take multiple years or decades : radicalization.

For me yes, the more people die the more I'm upset and the more urgency there will be to stop it. This is only logical. I'm not going to cherry pick and choose which deaths have more importance to me, based on whether it suits an anti-Ukraine narrative or not. I leave that to you.

With that, this is a waste time. Have a good one.

Ā

You do exactly that. Justifying ''bad''Ā means in the name of ''good'' ends, giving rationalesĀ for deaths adverse to your narrative, quantifying tragedies and making them fit your pre-existing world view. You already decided what side you will be on before so when something happens, it's not an issue of ''I am on the right side?'', but an issue of ''I must be on the right side, I just need some reasons''.
