I heard rumors they were leaving a while back because of how shitty their promo has been. But holy crap, please don't let this be the "end" of BP.

saw a comment on twt that made sense. basically they moved their popular artists like Blackpink and Taeyang to their sublabel THEBLACKLABEL and YG ENT focuses on their newer artists so the newer ones wont be overshadowed by the popular ones

It's YG. It's just another way for them to get rid of older acts to side label, and they'd likely largely get ignored like their seniors before them after this move to Blacklabel, which is runs by Teddy.
