Taylor Swift won’t be making her upcoming directorial debut as an Oscar-nominated filmmaker. Although she is still among the 15 songs still in the running for best original song, her film “All Too Well: The Short Film,” which stars Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien, failed to advance to the next round of voting for best live-action short.

It's not the MTV Movie Awards so glad she's not on that, wouldn't have been fair to other film makers who spend years trying to get their short film made. I mean Taylor is very talented and I'm sure now that's she's directing a project she has the chance to really do something great but idk All Too Well for that category seemed a little extra.

She still has a chance to get nominated for Best Original Song. And the Oscars don't really care about trying to get stans' views. Gaga was nominated in every award this year for House of Gucci except the Oscars.

Who was even deluded enough to even think that she’ll be nominated? If anything, the smaller categories are harder to get into. If she really pushed for it I’ll be surprised because she’s mostly pragmatic.
