What about you? How do you feel when you listen to it? I know a lot of you guys here dont like the album, thats okay we all have different tastes.

Joanne means so much to me, I can hear the artistry in the lyrics and melodies.. it feels so raw and just.. so calming.

Something about it makes me feel euphoric. Is there any album of Gagas that makes you feel a certain way? which is it and do you know why?

Joanne is amazing. It's my second favorite album from her.

I just want to be a cowboy and to dance on A-YO.

The only Gaga albums I keep going back to are Chromatica, DoC, ARTPOP & occasionally BTW & TF:Remix. When I'm feeling down those soul crushing beats along with her amazing voice lift me up. Or if I'm cleaning or driving or wanna dance it's always those albums for me. I've never been one to listen to TF/TFM a lot. BTW was my coming of age album and I listened to it more times than I can count but it has worn off as I grew older. With Joanne I forced myself to listen to it a lot when it was released until it finally grew on me. But I haven't listened to it in a while. Same with ASIB which I love but it has worn off after too many listens. Gaga's dance music remains superior.

To answer your question, Joanne makes me wanna forget it ever existed in Gaga's discography. The only true gem from that album is Million Reasons. The rest of the album is Gaga trying too hard to sound like an indie artist and failing to do so. The second half of the album is some of her weakest stuff. I said what I said.:vegas:

interesting to hear ur side.. hmm i mean its not strong material but for me I feel like it wasnt trying to be indie it was just trying to go bac to roots, like stefani germanotta red and blue and how it was a bit laid back but probably adding an older tone cuz of her aunt.. imo lol

Joanne and ASIB are my favorites and this is a large reason why!

I had always found a calming, comforting feeling from Gaga’s more emotional songs. I’ve always preferred when she used her natural vocal talents. I knew when C2C came out that I would love some original raw material from her.

Joanne and ASIB gave me 2 albums of mostly that! Not only with the selection of ballads and midtempos between the two, but quite a variety of high energy songs (The whole first half Joanne except the title track. Look What I Found is exceptional too and I love Heal Me and Hair Body Face. (I will admit WDYDT just gives me anxiety because of the corresponding movie scenes and just isn’t that great of a song in my opinion).

These two albums align closer to my musical style overall than the other Gaga albums (but I love the rest as well. Gaga actually got me into more electronic music!)

Perfect Illusion is a song I relate a lot with and makes me release all the negative emotions

The album itself is one of her best

I liek the album a lot. I listen to it more than TF or TFM. Diamond Heart, John Wayne, DIC, PI and Angel Down are songs that I'll never get tired of.
