Gaga's movies have no replay value

I think sometimes dramas just tend to be draining for some people. And that’s okay! Yeah, I’d like to see Gaga in something that’s not purely drama. Like I adored her in AHS. (Also biased since I love horror). But yeah, it is just your opinion, but doesn’t mean you can’t want her to be in other things. I also don’t think I could watch ASIB again, because it genuinely had me depressed for days after the fact.

i’ve watched asib 27 times  i haven’t seen it in a while, but for the year or two after it came out, it was all i’d watch as a comfort movie. the subject matter is touchy, but i like emotional movies so

The direction and script, imo, were bad. I think that, if you consider what HOG could've been if it were directed by Ryan Murphy in the style of American Crime Story: Versace, it's easy to see how it was a missed opportunity (especially given how stacked the cast of HOG is).

OMG it's soooooo good it's just so rewatchable so many great scenes and moments . classic. imo of course.  every scene just feels like it's building up to the next, there's no dragging imo

What are these takes  A Little Monster not liking ASIB, a very heterosexual alt-rock remake of a remake of a remake, does not make them less of a movie fan. Nor does not liking HOG, which most people didn't. It also doesn't matter whether or not someone's on the same page as the GP, I think all of us have had a "the GP has no taste" moment at least once before.

AHS is like a 20 hour film.  Minus that drilldo scene and the whole sewing people to each other thing I could rewatch that. Gucci and Asib I'm pretty much one and done EXCEPT I do want the directors cut of Gucci because if Ridley did get those 4 hours he originally had in mind, we could have gotten a better portrayal of the life of Patrizia post murder , and of course for some, the Hayek / Gaga scenes.

I haven't rewatched either movie. HOG just isn't much good. I thought she did very well in it, but Ridley Scott just churns them out one a week and they make money and ...'NEXT'.

I thought the first half of ASIB was great. She was great, he was great, the chemistry was there, then she starts to become a star and it goes off the rails. And I'm not interested in seeing the sad ending again. Seriously though, the sad ending is not necessary. Find some other way to finish it and just give her some other song to sing at the end.

THIS. It's too rushed towards the end. Not enough character development and story development where we needed it. I want to know how imprisoned Patrizia spent her days. What the courtroom drama was like. In the book it is postulated that Pina and Patrizia had something that graduated to more than just friends. Where was that going? A lot of depth Ridley didnt explore. Less fat over 50 Italian men. More Gaga.

Sadly with all 5 incarnations of ASIB from '37 onward to 2018, the whole story engine requires his death. It's a pain in the ass. We root for our heros to succeed only to lose them.

What I don’t like about either movie is one scene it’s present day then the next scene they jump forward by like 2 years  with literally both movies I was like “how are they getting married so quickly they just met “

by "gaga's movies" I literally meant the movies gaga's been in (happens to be two so far)  not inventing anything that doesn't already exist lol
