What ever happened to that? Wasn't that a thing in the beginning of the year, that Ridley Scott might release one?

the only way i'd watch that is if the director cut out all of jared leto and replaced it with more gaga

I think it was wishful thinking on the cast and audience's part, Ridley clearly made some bad decisions and cut a ton of Gaga's scenes, and I doubt he'd admit he was wrong by cutting them back into the movie 

As much as it pains me to say this... I kinda want to forget that movie even happened 

She was an absolute highlight in a disaster of a film. Ridley truly didn't deserve her.

I'm still waiting. I need to see the scenes where she was in hospital with a brain tumor. (Because I know Gaga filmed that scene)

Not only that, they had a whole damn storyline where she was pregnant, and they even included clips from it in the trailer that they released  there was also a scene where she has a breakdown after being rejected with her photo album and she almost gets hit by a car.

But I guess Ridley figured it was far more important to include 80 scenes of cars driving up to houses, or all the men sitting around arguing with each other

I was thinking about it recently, Ridley did director's cuts for worse movies (that were subsequently hailed as gems) so I don't see why not do it for Gucci that was a somewhat financial success and bulked its praise on Gaga. So knowing the commercial appeal her name has, why not release the version with her better scenes that were cut? (also remove as much Jared as possible).

Also the "drags" for this movie are overstated, it was never panned on RT as stan twitter pretends, Gaga was constantly praised and even on rewatch many people say it's not that bad. I dare to say it's better than a good chunk of the Oscar contenders who ended up nominated (including the best actress winner).

I think if the movie had performed better (like ASIB) we would get a re-release with more material. But it got kinda flop reviews, and one of the main criticisms was that it was way too long and already like 2 movies in 1  

I agree that we need a special Gaga Stan cut with more Patrizia and less "BOOFe!!1"
