also i’m def more of a taylor stan than a billie stan, but i’m surprised taylor’s song got in over billie’s both here and at the GGs. taylor’s song didn’t really make a splash, but billie’s is from a potential best animated film winner

Pinocchio is going to win best animated film, which is why ”Ciao Papa” replaced Billie’s song.

I like Turning Red but hope Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio wins. I'd be very surprised if it doesn't, it's a masterpiece and easily the best one of the Animated Film group.

yeah i should’ve rephrased myself. i know pinnochio is the favorite as of late. i’m just surprised a song from a movie with a 34% on RT is getting more attention than a song from a movie that is surely a lock for a nomination. 

 

but the important thing is……GO GAGA

Hmm that's true but in these cases they usually go for the quality of the songs. A lot of times they nominate songs from movies that are not part of the Best Picture group. It's quite common I think.

My bad you're right, it's almost the same ones. Can't believe the director and editors of Elvis are there but not Guillermo (Director). I liked Elvis but the movie itself was a hot mess, I got a headache.
