Gaga inspired “The White Lotus” actress

Italian actress Beatrice Garranò recently revealed that she was inspired by Gaga while playing her character Mia on “The White Lotus” 

“When she plays that piano, she thinks she’s doing a Lady Gaga concert. She’s really, like … belting that voice. When I read the script and saw all the songs I was singing, I was like, Okay, this is jazz and lounge music.”

Just thinking about how cool that actually is. The concept of someone being inspired by another person in some form so much, that it causes a positive reaction in any way, especially creatively

Yes, it’s really special indeed. I’ve also noticed that playing the piano has become synonymous with Gaga’s image recently. She’s the Elton of this generation

She really is. I love that you said this and it's very ironic you mention it. So, I haven't fully actually told my TCB story, it was an all over the place one. The one moment from the show where I truly felt like I had transcended almost was during Free Woman. Like, hearing that, seeing that, in a stadium setting for some reason brought me back to the early 90's. It genuinely made me feel like I was at an Elton show, especially that entire act like, going from Babylon, Free Woman, BTW, Shallow, etc like omg. Especially Free Woman though for some reason, there was something very ethereal and special about that performance and I'll never forget it

She was great. I was honestly kind of annoyed at the ending, but I loved how she, Mia, and Valentina ended up. And the actress who played Valentina the manager looks like she could be Ga's sister imo.

Yes! They even told her that in an interview and she said she would love to meet Gaga one day. I can’t remember what platform it was but I’ll post it here if I find it.

Okay EVERYONE is talking about White Lotus. Season 2 must have been really good because last year I only heard the title of the show a couple times.

But now that Aubrey Plaza AND Jennifer Coolidge are in it and that one really cute guy... I might need to start watching

Okay okay fine I'll add it to my list   but unfortunately I will need to torrent it because I can't access HBO max in my country and don't have a Neon account  

Streaming has really gone to a stupid place now where we need to pay for 10 streaming sites to watch the popular shows of the time... and as someone who probably watches 3 TV series a year, my hand is being forced back to my old torrent websites
