Already soo hyped for my date in May! It originally would have taken place in October 2021, but it has been rescheduled due to COVID. I really hope he makes it to all these dates - because that is an insane pensum, especially at his age!

Taylor will ruin this. And I’m happy for both of them

Elton is and has been incredibly successful equally WW. Taylor's massive in the US, Australia and China but she's not that big in Europe, Japan and Latin America. Do you seriously think she'll surpass Elton's record without those territories?

Is this his 4th farewell tour or his 5th? I lost count

Still just the one. He announced it in 2018 and started it at the end of that year, he said when he originally announced it that it would be 3 years because he wants to go out with a bang and wants everyone to get a chance to see him one last time. COVID interrupted it, so the last year and a half essentially had to be postponed to 2022-2023. So even though there were no shows from March 2020 to January 2022, it’s all still the same tour.

I have no clue who will end up with the bigger tour, I wish them both incredible success. It’s worth mentioning that if there really were 14 million people trying to get presale tickets for Taylor, the most attended tour of all time was Ed Sheeran’s Divide Tour which sold 8.9 million tickets over the span of 3 years playing to arenas and stadiums around the globe. That just makes it even more mind-blowing how high the demand is for the Eras Tour.

Have the best time!! I was blessed enough to see him twice on this tour (2019 and 2022) and he was also my first concert ever back in 2011. These farewell shows truly are special, you really feel the impact of the legacy he’s created over the past 50 years, it’s extra sentimental seeing him on his last run of shows.

And I’m sure Taylor won’t have so many dates like Elton. His tour has been going on for years. It will be hard to break his record. Taylor might come close if she decides to to like 60-70 dates.

It was 14 million in the US though.
