MTG accuses Ukraine of funding democrats, likens Russian invaders to immigrants

At a time when 10 million ukrainians are left without power and heat, they also have to deal with the stupid accusations coming from their own allies, which are likely to deepen the mistrust between Ukraine and the West.

MTG and other republicans held a press conference announcing a bill to audit Ukraine aid and pledged to block any additional aid.

In the press conference, MTG claimed Ukraine is taking aid from Congress and sending it back to democrats through FTX 

She also compared russian invading soldiers to immigrants, saying that why should the U.S worry about them if there are 5 million who crossed the U.S border

It is just incredible. And I don't think people realize how potent this is. Forget the millions of americans who will believe this. Russians themselves who have been on the fence and/or opposed the war initially will start questioning themselves when they see these statements from the U.S. They'll start wondering if their President Putin is right after all.
