''Suspect'' rocket that fell in Romania turned out to be hail cannon

On November 17, the Dispatcher of the Vâlcea County Police Inspectorate was called regarding the fact that, in the commune, an anti-hail missile would have crashed. 

The mayor of Lungești Vâlcea, Tiberiu Costea, who was also on the ground in the area where the missile fell, told "Adevărul":  "I think it's an anti-hail missile, as it looks, as I saw in the images.'' From the first checks carried out, it was established that the notification is confirmed. 

Partly posting this for comic relief (), partly to show how much the Ukrainian missile that hit Poland ingrained the mind of people. We are talking about a scare that was registered by everybody in the region and probably around the world. The event in Poland (or at least its initial coverage ) was serious enough that will probably prove to have caused a ''social trauma'' in the long run.

I live in Poland (far enough from the Ukrainian border) but I was scared AF. Not gonna lie, I was pretty sure thay it was the Ukrainian missile from the very begining, but at the end of the day two innocent people died because of the Russia dirty actions. I hope that I'm wrong and I pray to God to be wrong in this case, but it seems like sooner or later this war will escalate...

Drone  of SOVIET origin fell in Zagreb, capital of Croatia, in March this year and by Pure luck it did not crash into Student dorm but into park near it.

And even now it is not know where it came from ( Russia or Ukraine ) and most disturbing fact is that it flew Romania ( under 3 minutes ) and Hungary ( over 50 minutes ). Both NATO members as Croatia and nobody took it Down .

Same.. I think we will have a couple of more false alarms, but one time it will -eventually- be a true alarm. During the build up to WW2 people were expecting something big to happen any moment, the world feels similarily tense at the moment....

I am familiar with the incident! And I remember reading it was Ukrainian and not Russian also.

(Either way, considering that Orban is Putin's BFF, the fact that a Russian drone might have transited Hungary doesn't seem all that scary tbh )

It was speculated it could be Ukrainian but nothing is yet comfirmed.
